Erasmus+ Shape Your Future – 3rd Job Shadowing Mobility in Spain
From the 20th to 31st March 2022, participants from partner organisations went to Salamanca, Spain for the Erasmus+ Shape your Future 3rd Job Shadowing Mobility!
The activities were hosted by BB&R and involved Youth Vision (Romania), HESL – Hanta Educational Services Limited (Ireland), EAYE – European Association of Young Educators (Portugal) and ZSZ nr 1 w Białej Podlaskiej (Poland).
About The Project
Shape Your Future aims at the social inclusion of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and their integration into the labour market. The project also targets youth workers and responds to the challenges of working online with youth. The project online platform, application and handbook will help young people find employment opportunities and develop entrepreneurial skills.
About The Mobility
This was the third and last Job Shadowing mobility that took place after the first in Portugal and the second in Ireland. The aim was to develop resources and exchange good practices in the field of youth work and young people’s employability.
Workshops & Visits
Participants actively took part in various workshops organised for the mobility, which focused on the project’s topics. They learned about cultural, social and digital entrepreneurship, and they got the chance to develop their entrepreneurship skills. They also helped create other useful resources that will be available on the SYF platform for free!
The schedule also included some interesting visits to local Spanish NGOs and institutions! Here youth workers learned more about other local European Projects related to employment, entrepreneurship and European citizenship.
They also visited the city and participated in cultural events and tours of Salamanca!
As part of the project, there will be 2 other Erasmus mobilities coming up! One is the Youth Workers’ Training Course and the final one will be the Youth Exchange! So stay tuned on our FB page and the SYF FB page for any news about these opportunities!
