We recently returned from the Erasmus+ We are at Work Too TPM in Catania, Sicily! On the 23rd May, we met our European partners for the penultimate Transnational Project Meeting, which was a huge success.
The Project
‘We Are At Work Too’ is dedicated to children with intellectual disabilities, their families, and educators.
This project studied the relationship between families, students, educators, and employers. The aims are to offer digital and innovative tools to guarantee children with intellectual disabilities greater autonomy and personal success.
The meeting
On day 1, each partner presented their local training sessions and discussed ideas for the sharing of resources. We also planned for the final stages, including local dissemination events in the partner countries. We ended the meeting reviewing the e-learning platform, where each user can create an account, access the resources for free and obtain a certificate.
On day 2, we had the chance to visit beautiful cultural sites around Catania, including Taormina!
As the project is coming to an end, we are proud of the results and the success of our local training. The partnership achieved their target number of teachers, parents and students taking part in the activities.
Our Turkish coordinator will host the last We Are At Work Too TPM and we are excited to further extend the reach of this project!
