From the 20th to the 25th of March 2022, participants from the UK, Lithuania, Italy, Greece, Turkey and the Czech Republic took part in the Erasmus+ LTTA for the Zoom Media project in Aydin, Turkey!
The project
“Zoom Media” is an Erasmus+ project focused on increasing people’s awareness of media messages encountered in their everyday lives. The project aims to create a better understanding of media literacy, allowing students to effectively deliver information. The project also aims to stimulate both students’ and teachers’ creativity and knowledge of everyday media platforms.
The mobility
On day 1, participants introduced their sending organisations taking part in the project and delivered sessions on project topics. Then they attended a stage performance of Aydınkent students.
On day 2, they took part in a workshop to develop and practice some advertising techniques.
The third day was dedicated to cultural visits! They went to Ephesus, an ancient city that is part of the UNESCO Heritage, Şirince and then Kuşadası.
On day 4, participants took part in a workshop with local journalists! They created news videos about issues around the world, such as climate change, coronavirus, unemployment, and migration.
On day 5, they visited Adnan Menderes University and the mobility ended with an evaluation session and a certificate ceremony.
Thanks to our partner in Turkey who hosted us! The Erasmus+ LTTA for the Zoom Media project was very successful and the participants enjoyed the experience and learned new skills and knowledge!
