The second Erasmus+ LTTA for the project “Spectator or an Actor?” started on the 28th of March! Participants from the UK, Greece, Malta, Turkey and Italy came together for this 5-day activity that took place in Pescara, Italy!
The project
“Spectator or An Actor?” is an Erasmus+ project focused on tackling the topic of digital media while promoting a larger sense of understanding and solidarity among countries specifically surrounding migrates and refugees.
This project aims at a more inclusive society without xenophobia, racism and radicalisation through promoting intercultural understanding, enhancing critical thinking and media literacy among young people, foster active youth participation, improving civic participation of young refugees and show the impacts of youth work and Erasmus+ in tackling these issues.
The mobility

On day two, they participated in a workshop and a discussion group about the use of Instagram and Twitter. The activity also included their active involvement in posting different contents on the 3 social media, adapting the format to the platforms.
On day three and four, they learned some basics in photo shooting and they put it into practice by creating a photobook of Pescara and posting the content on social media. Participants also got the chance to visit the local Chamber of Commerce!
On day five, they attended a workshop on how to use a blog site and looked at some examples. The last day of activities ended with an evaluation of the mobility and the certificate ceremony!
