We are happy to announce that we are now an official Ambassador for Eurodesk UK.
As an official Eurodesk Ambassador we will help spread the word about Eurodesk UK and European mobility opportunities to young people and organisations via events, informal talks and social media.
What is Eurodesk?
Eurodesk UK is part of the European-wide Eurodesk network. Today, a network of more than 1000 youth professionals work with Eurodesk in 34 countries to raise awareness among young people on learning mobility opportunities and to encourage them to become active citizens.
Eurodesk makes information on learning mobilities comprehensive and accessible to young professionals. As a consequence, Eurodesk UK works closely with the UK National Agency (a partnership between Ecorys and the British Council), and is responsible for managing the Erasmus+ programme in the UK.
Furthermore, together with the European Youth Portal, Eurodesk UK promotes a variety of opportunities for young people interested in training, studying or volunteering across Europe.
HAWP Project is a training and internship provider working with a large number of educational establishments and youth organisations across Europe.
Training courses and youth exchanges for young people and youth workers in the UK will be regularly advertised on our website. These short-term projects abroad are fully funded through the Erasmus+ programme and are certified using the Youth Pass, a European wide accepted tool of certifying competences acquired via non-formal education courses.
As Ambassadors, HAWP Project alongside Eurodesk UK hope to reach more and more young people interested in travelling across Europe while undertaking valuable training.
